ECCENTRICITY by cantilever?

question: should an eccentricity not be caused by a cantilevered beam on its supported column? seems to me that it should be, but i dont know/remember how to get at it (based on the worst case unbalanced loading). it makes a big difference in the column calcs.

yes, the original load i am sure was not required to be 100 live load, maybe 60 at best for the cantilever. after internal office consult, will likely replace the beam altogether rather than jimmy rig it. old house, lower floor, the post could likely have rot as well... other supports except for this one are on masonry. this one is a redwood post... 7x8 according to old plans.

dhengr... yes, the approx 9k uplift at the far internal support will be addressed.

i meant change out the post not the beam... the interior portions of the beams are ofcourse being left
