Eccentrically Braced Frames ETABS v15 Problem

hi, i am designing a dual-system steel structure building and it consist of SMF and EBF, the ETABS manual only tells me that i have to overwrite the structure to become EBF, and the problem is, does ETABS calculate the EBF using 1.25RyVn as it tells in the Manual? Where can i check that?
