East timor structural code

What is the structural code being used in east timor? American or British? or do they have their own?

If they have their own, what codes are for steel and concrete?

personally, I'd be surprised if East Timor had a building code !?? maybe they use the Australian code ??

maybe individual projects use a specific code ? in that case, maybe US

Why not ask the client in East Timor to find this out for you, from the local building department (local government agency which issues building permits, etc.); or at least ask them to get you an e-mail or phone number at the building department so you can communicate directly with the people who have control over these matters.

Timor-Leste is a new nation, so things like this are still thought bubbles. I think you would be safe in using Australian or US codes.
