Eagle Point contouring 1

I am having trouble creating curved breaklines in Eagle Point. Arcs and Polylines will only carry one elevation throughout the entire line based on the first node snapped to. 'Insert Breakline' will only draw straight breaklines. I need to have these breaklines for contours around curb lines and islands where there is not enough field info. Can anyone explain this better than the Eagle Point manual does? I know that it must be possible without manually changing elevations on lines...

Have you tried 3d polylines?
