Let's say we have a embedded column, are there formulas like Roark's formulas for stress & strain that will deal with a moment in addition to compression? or would i have to boundary element method the whole thing?

I'll put in context: If one wants to make a structure with a small base that gets as wide as possible at a certain point & goes up as many floors as it can, how does one calculate the compressive stresses + moments in such a structure? are they known as monosymmetric beams and cantilevers?
