I have a Dell 6400 (Laptop) that is docked and 2 monitors connected to the docking station. The Dynamic highlight does not work when both monitors are plugged in. When I use just the laptop it works fine. Has anyone else seen this, and if so did you get a solution to the problem?
I already been through the VAR route and that didn't work, hoping someone out here has found away around this, other than dropping one monitor or using the laptop monitor. I cannot see the laptop monitor, which is why I opted for 2 regular ones.
Now I have seen that it will highlight on an occasion, but for the most part it will not highlight. It did for a short time and then for no apparent reason it stopped working. I reinstalled SW once and it started working again, then after a few days it stopped again. I tried reinstalling SW (Clean again) and reinstall the VC driver and it never came back. I am at a lost to why it was working, then stopped and never came back. SW reply when I went through my VAR was
Note: 1 monitor is on a VGA cable and the other is on DVI. For some reason our IT was not able to get 2 DVI (which is on the docking station) cables to work with this type of setup.

which is a cop out of a reply. If it did work then stopped working, then there has to be a reason, not just"they don't support this configruation"
I am very frustrated with the cop out reply, since I know there is a solution out there."We don't support that"...
