Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up a kinematic analysis in ANSYS Workbench 11.

Basically it will be a 2D system in the +/- Y direction and will be a 3 degree of freedom system. My company did not purchase the Rigid Dynamics package for ANSYS, but has the flexible dynamic capabilities.

The bodies are supposed to be subjected to hydrodynamic drag as damping. How can I set up a function in workbench to probe the body's velocity and relate it to a force? I've tried setting up parameters, but I don't think this is the correct way of doing. It appears as though ANSYS classical has functions, but I am only used to working in Workbench, so I'm unsure about making the analysis accurate.

Thanks everyone.
