Does anyone know where i could obtain the software SNAP-2DX?

Thanks,

Looks like you'll have to write it yourself as google has never heard of it.

Cheers

Google returns plenty of references, but nearly all embedded within pdf documents and no dedicated web site that I can find.

I suggest you contact the authors of the pdf documents.

Can you give us any more information about the software? Is it software that was used for a particular industry or for a particular country?

I've never heard of it. But, I'm only familiar with most of the structural software that's been used in the US over the last 15 to 20 years.

Also, software that's popular outside of the USA may not show up as easily on Google searches.

The citation for it on the website of one of the creators is:

Rai, D. C., Firmansjah J. and Goel, S. C. (1996). “SNAP-2DX: Structural Nonlinear Analysis Program for Static and Dynamic Analysis of 2D Structures; (MS DOS Version).” Rept. No. UMCEE 96-21, Univ. of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, Aug., 71 p., Sponsored by a group of design firms on the West Coast.

Doesn't sound like anything you can't get from a number of different programs, but maybe the OP knows something I don't...
