Hi,

I need to find a .dwg file of North Carolina that shows, at a minimum, county boundaries and names. In the past I could import a shape file using Map3D, but as of about a year ago, my company only has plain-old AutoCAD 2010, so I need a .dwg or dxf. I have been googling my butt off, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Sometimes, your local county or municipality may keep this as part of their GIS records. I understand that you are looking for the whole state of NC but you may get lucky or at the very least your county staff may point you in the right direction. Digitizing county boundaries should probably be your last resort.
