Hello,
Is there a formula with which you can convert Charpy impact values of a given duplex ss testpiece to impact values @lower temp (same wallthickness/ same weldingprocess etc), thus avoiding the need for retests. Thanks in advance.

No, actual impact tests must be performed at lower test temperatures.

You can correct for sample size but not temp.
You must do the real thing.

Variations in grades, chemistry within grades, melting and mechanical processing of duplex stainless steels all affect toughness at temperature. You cannot extrapolate toughness from tests performed at higher temperatures to toughness obtained at lower temperatures.
