To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

It is unfortunately common for large trucks to misjudge their height, or fail to properly secure their bed/load - resulting in a bridge impact. I've seen photos of a crane which was left elevated and sliced several feet into an overpass deck.

I've been onsite and seen a 13.5' tall refrigerated truck try to cram themselves under a 12.5' overpass, ignoring 7 different warning signs.
