Hi, I'm hoping someone can help with a problem that has been causing
lots of headaches. We are using Solidworks 2009 and Workgroup PDM.
When we make a change to a part, the drawing will reflect this change
initially, but then (and this seems to happen at random) when it is
re-opened the drawing views will regress to a previous version which
does not have the change. The revision table, notes, dimensions etc
stay at the new level but the drawing views are to the 'old' design.

This
can be rectified by selecting each view and clicking to change the
cosmetic thread display from 'High Quality' to 'Draft Quality' or vica
versa. This process seems to refresh the view to it's proper level.

We
have had instances where this has not been done and we have ordered
hundreds of laser cut parts using a DXF saved from a drawing showing
parts which are to the wrong revsion. Because the problem is
intermittent it is easy to forget to use the workaround. It happens on
all 3 of our PCs.

I hope my explanation makes sense and I have included all the information you need.
