I am having some trouble making a belt drive system. Is there a way to make a flexible belt using pro-e. My design calls for a v-belt, actually three v-belts like on older cars without serpentine belts and with ac. thanks for your help, I am a new user to the program and any help is most appriciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Make a datum curve for your belt path then sweep the belt cross section around the curve.

Important point to note: Decide whether you wish to
model a belt or you wish to run Kinematic analysis. For
the latter you need not model a belt. You can define a
belt connection (gear connection with axis of rotation
in the same direction)
If you are modeling the belt, check out the perimeter
command under sketching... since purchased endless belts
are defined by their length.

thanks alot for your help
