I want to create a curve that is shaped like a lemniscate. I want to use the following function:

(x^2+y^2)^2 = 2c^2 (x^2-y^2)

c: a constant that has influence on the size of the lemniscate

^ : a square sine

How can idraw this curve

much thanks from a student from Holland to anyone who replies

Hi Moeka

Select ref curve (the icon with a brown curve), select a coord sys and a plane and there you can write a curve form a function.

The rest is just maths.

If you will be using trigonom.functions be sure to work in degrees instead of radians.
