draftsight pointer issues

Hello,

Can anybody advise me about pointer movement issues that I'm experiencing in Draftsight?
The pointer is just "too slow", i.e. lags behind mouse movement.

I've tried Tools>Options>User Preferences>Drafting options>Pointer Controls, but no success. Or perhaps I didn't find what to adjust?
