Dimensioning options in 9/rapid? cylindrical dimension in particular. (*see pic*)

I am trying to create a diameter dimension in NX9 using 2 curve intersection via a section view of a round core, theoretical sharp dimension, and I assume I need to pre-select cylindrical prior to the 2 curve intersection, not sure how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

I still use 7.5 simply because I'm used to it, but once in awhile a customer will send new data, in a newer version (ver 9)...

To me, this is like getting a new car and the steering wheel is in the trunk, I understand change, but some things are just meant to stay the same... 0-6

Can't say that i understand exactly what it is you are trying to do.
I guess that it is the Diameter .263 on the right in the image which is the problem.
Can you upload an example model ?
and, btw, the "rapid dimension" will most likely become more "rapid" in NX10.0.2 ( The steering wheel moves a bit forward :- )

Tomas

Yes the screenshot is from NX7.5, and the .263 dimension is the one I'm trying to create in 9.

In 7.5 to achieve this I use cylindrical dimension, then 2 curve intersection (the full rad on the end of the pin has a small flat to pick the intersections), easy peasy.

I figured it out, thanks.
