I have modeled a flat plate and united a cylinder that is perpindicular to the plate surface. Is there a way to draft the surface of the plate from the edges to the center axis of the cylinder? The plate is octagonal shape so each draft direction for a particular edge would be different. This is where I am running into trouble. Thanks.

I think you will need to add draft to one surface at a time to get what you want.
It's a bit hard to tell without the model itself.

That is very close to what I am looking for SDETERS except by doing that, the thickness along the edge now varies. I would like to have a uniform thickness at the edge if at all possible.

And here's another method :-)
I created a circle on the cylinder and then a Trough Curves between the circle and the octagon. The points on the circle is spread by drag-drop and could be improved.

Regards,
Tomas

Thanks! I didn't think about doing it that way.
