I've just noticed something regarding draft that I haven't noticed before, but to be honest I don't use the draft feature very often. Say you have a sketch consisting of two concentric circles. Then you want to extrude a boss with the draft feature enabled (to make a funnel). The two circles draft in opposite directions regardless of whether you draft inward or outward. Take a look at the pic. Same thing happens if your sketch is a single circle, and you try the thin feature option. So my question is: Is this the intended function or is this a bug? I'm using 2010sp0.

Yes, that's intended, since the Draft feature is serving the tooling folks. So if you wanted to add draft to a molded plastic boss, this is the way it ought to model for proper mold release.

You can get what you want by extruding the feature without draft, then using the Draft feature to go back in and draft surfaces individually--in each direction you desire.

It would be nice to have a "Draft Parallel" option available for selection, but not necessary.

Or extrude a solid with draft and then shell it.
