I am trying to calculate the pressure drop between the branches and the run of a tee if the flows are unequal e.g. 250GPM in 200GPM in branch 50GPM in the run. I have referenced the Crane 410 Tech paper and other fluid texts? Looking for a method formula or reference.

Thanks in advance

Reference:
Idelchik, "Handbook of Hydaulic Resistance"

CRG,
Because I do not have the reference can you give me the formula for both run and branch or explain its method. i.e. use constant flow loss through branch and enlargement loss for ratio of flows etc. Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Toed

Toed, in Crane Tech paper 410, page A-29, the K values are given for a standard tee--thru run K=20*ft, and thru branch K=60*ft. Get ft from page A-26. Use equation 2-4 to calculate L/D, where L would be your equivalent length.
