Hello
I had to conduct some infiltrometer testing in Riverside County, California and now I am calculating the infiltration rate. I used the constant head method, double ring infiltrometer with marriote tubes and measured the change in head in inches.
To calculate the infiltration rate I must multiply the change in head with Vr (in^3/in) and here is my confusion. What is Vr? Its calculated for both of the marriote tubes and has inches cubed per inch units. The Riverside County Draft Requirements does not specify how to calculate Vr and so I am wondering if anybody knows how. Please Help.
