Double nut requirement. 1

can we use half nut for the second nut of the anchor bolt? anchor bolt projection is not enough to compensate the full double nut.

The "proper" use of jam nuts kind of disqualifies them for real hard working structural joints anyhow, since the thin nut needs full torque. They remind me of coelecanths.
