Hi,

I would like to ask for a bit of advice on a connection design. We usually use this connection for the double c-sections to connect the beams to the column

But now there is a special situation for a project that we need to put the beams face to face like this

Could anyone suggest a good connection setup (preferably similar to the original situation that we can do it? The connection should be in a way that the beams work together of course. For example, if we put two T-joint to connect them they don't 100 percent work together. Additionally, the installation is a challenge here (because of limited access for bolting.

I really appreciate any piece of advice.

I don't see how the single cleat makes the beams 'work together' whereas using two cleats does not. The cleats don't really affect how the beams work, what affects them is how they are loaded and connected along their length.

I don't see any difference (as human909 says)
