Double Angle Compared to WT

I have to do a design check of a double angle (equal legs), and I'm thinking that it makes more sense to look at this as a tee section rather than two individual angles. Does this seem reasonable?

Nevermind, I just found it in the spec. Double angles and tee's are in the same section.
