Does Auto CAD support custom colors? 1

Is there any method to create custom colors in auto CAD like a paint program. Is there any method to provide transparency to a hatch pattern (solid fill)?

Hi, Sunny:
AutoCAD works only 256 color pattern for his own. For more colours you must import "materials" from other packages (like 3dStudio).
Same way for transparent hatch patterns (importing transparent materials or textures)

I think AutoDesk is far back in this area. Really it is a good idea to mark a plan or elevation with different colors and transparencies.
