Does anyone know of a lighter weight substance that can be used in kiln operations to cure graphite rather than 12 pound ceramic blocks? Firing temps are up to 1500 degrees F.Or, is there a type of sagger box out there that is lighter that 15-18 pounds that can withstand these temperatures? Operators are loading,moving, and unloading about 630 sagger boxes at a height of 96-136 cm in a six hour time frame (in adverse heat conditions).
