Does Anyone know How can I setup Italic Dimensions on Drawing

If I want change "normal" to "italic" dimension style, How can I change in Drafting.xml file? I'm looking for this option on xml but I didn't find.
I'm using V5R10 SP6/W2000

Hi John,

If you run catia in administrator mode the options are available for modification in the catia standards window.

To run catia in administrator mode you must run the program from the start menu - run option and type in CNEXT /admin

(I could have the slash the wrong way round its a long time since I have done it)

Once accessed catia provides access to all the sections normally greyed out in the standards window including font setup and dimension styles etc..

Hello there.

It must be said that the XML-file in R10 is not very complete. We are still on R10 at work, and we gave up on using the XML-file because it didn't cover our demands.

The XML-file introduced in R11 is much more powerful and complete, and seem to offer customization of everything you could want.

Ok I understood, so Is there any possibility for use R11 xml-file under R10 SP6? Does anyone could send it?

quick way is to create the first dimension, select it use the text property tool bar and select italic. again highlight dimension and right click and select "set as default".

If the drawing is already dimensioned use your mouse and capture the whole drawing (click mouse and drag a box around all you want to change) click on the italic icon and all dimensions and text will change.
