Do you know the formula for calculating thickness to control condensation on a tank or vessel?

Yes, I do. Be sure the outermost temperature (usually a SS, Al, or mastic cover) is above the local dew point most of the time, and that your insulation system is a good barrier and doesn't allow much infiltration by the ambient atmosphere.

Good Luck,
Latexman

Would please show me the formula for calculating?

Have you used Search? Under the thread title, and between Forum and FAQs.

Let you search on "surface temperature" in this forum in Subject (16 hits) and in Keywords (211 hits). You can expand the search to Full Site, if needed.

Then, if you have a specific question on a specific formula, let us know.

Good Luck,
Latexman

You are very welcome.

IMHO, search is the wise Engineer's best friend.

Good Luck,
Latexman

Use consistent units below. t_s should be more than atmospheric dew point temperature to prevent condensation.
