Hi everyone.

In API 1104, ASME or some other standard, is it specified what is the minimum distance between two circumferential welds in a pipe?

Thanks in advance

Do a search on this site as it comes up a few times s year, e.g ams follow a few of the links.

AFAIK, the is no code limit, only company standards and specifications.

Apparently, this data is not specified in any standard.

Thank you very much for the help.

Normally, experience says 50mm minimum, to have a safe HAZ.
