Hi All,

I am currently designing a 4 storey retail building in a city centre which is open to the public. It is less than 2000m2. In your view does this fall into the class 2b category for a disproportionate collapse design check?

I am guessing you mean each storey is less than 2000m2?

I would say that it falls into the class 2B category as it is over 3 storeys (class 2A not more than 3 storeys)
