The Displayed Part is the one you see on the screen. Now in the case of an Assembly being the Displayed Part, it might NOT be the Work Part. The Work Part is the one that any additions or edits will be applied to. Now the Displayed Part and the Work Part could be the same if it's the Assembly that is the Work Part.
