Dear all,

Does any one know that how we can fix the displacement (0.5) at one cross section.

Impossible. Only nodes can be fixed. Change your geometry. May be *Shellsection, offset is an option

A fixed displacement at a set of NODES through a cross section is straightforward, simply use the *BOUNDARY, TYPE=DISPLACMENT and specify your displacement i.e.

*BOUNDARY, TYPE=DISPLACMENT
<node number or set>, DOF(1st), DOF(last), 0.5

Seasons greetings,
