hey guys can anyone point me in the direction of an up to date procedure for displacment based design? or able to share link or data on the subject, i am testing slip joints in masonry walls in australia, with earthquake and wind loading, doing a displacement based design to determine how much of a displacement is being caused by these forces and if they are suitable and if it is a good building practice to use slip joints in masonry buildings. the types of masonry buildings are 5 storey walk up apartment builidngs.
