disjointed iso view

I need to create an isometric projection from a view of a long part with a break line. when I project the iso view, the axis of the "left side" and "right side" of the break is disjointed, ie I want the two sides to be axially aligned, and they are misalinged, making the part difficult to fit on the page. Any pointers how to solve this?

What have you tried so far?

Maybe try applying the break after creating the isometric view?

You can use the "Crop View" feature instead of "Break" one.

Insert two equal isometric views and crop them from two sides. Next you can align them as you like.

The cropped view is something I've never used, but I can see this is a work-around to try. I say it is a work-around because I can't understand why this broken view would be intentionally offset or disjointed....

I'll give it a whirl....

It's disjointed because it's showing the feature in the position it would be had it not been broken. So the longer the break the more disjointed it gets.

I can't for the life of me understand how this is useful as the entire purpose of breaking the view is to save real estate and when it disjoints like that it isn't helping.
