Does anybody know where I can obtain a used direct shear machine?

Oh, if I only had bought ours years ago - but I had no place in my storage for it . . . . but, no, I don't (but I could have!).

Have you tried ebay?

- EIT Geotechnical Engineer, 1 year old :)

I saw one on ebay this weekend for ~$3600 US. Just search for Direct Shear. This one looked like it was in pretty good shape, complete with LVDT's.
