Hi Everybody,
Does anyone have the design calculations for dimple jackets on stainless steel vessels? I dont think its adequately covered in the British Standards 5500 where it says
use as a flat plate & in doing so suggests a ludicrous pitching of 2.875" which is far too small a centre distance. Some references are to UG-28 & UG-29 of ASME 8 but I havnt got this American standard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
