Hi all,

Working on a drawing for work that has an issue I've never come across before. When I scale views in my drawing, the dimensions do update what they are measuring.

For example, suppose I am dimensioning the length of a rectangular part. When I scale the part down, the length dimension continues to measure where the edges used to be in the previous view, instead of pointing to the edges in the smaller view.

If anyone could enlighten to me as what's creating this issue, please let me know!

Thanks,

Da Prim

You need to update the drawing. I don't have Pro/E at home to tell you the menu picks.

This is a graphics related issue. You need to close the drawing and part, erase from memory and re-open.

View > Update

were the dimensions shown dimensions? If so, view update sheets should work. Pay attention to the tab your in. Sometimes it requires you to run view update sheets from both the layout tab and the annotate tab.
