Hello All,
New user question, why don't all dimensions used to build a model come in to the 2d drawing? I still have to create a number of dimensions for each drawing. I'm not the only one who does this apparently as I see 'grayed' dims on other peoples drawings as well.
Thanks,
Bob

A lot of people use driven dimensions in their drawings. Sometimes the way a model is created, does not reflect the way a part should be dimensioned for manufacture.

But to answer your question, it would be helpful if you explain which dimensions are not being inserted into the drawing. (Extruded length, pattern spacing, etc).

Are you selecting the correct options when inserting the Model Items?

[cheers]

CorBlimeyLimey,
it is the dim's that you mention, seemingly basic stuff like lengths and pattern info.
