Dimensions-Extension Line Breaks

Good Morning,
I'm adding GD&T features to dimension extension lines and thought it would break automatically around the feature control frames of the GD&T blocks. Is there a setting in the options area? Right now I have the extension lines running through the frames.

I don't 100% understand. How is it running through the frame if it's attached to the dim ext line?

You can break ext lines with other ext lines, but not with FCF's.
I remember I've always had to move the FCF's around so that the lines do not pass thru. I don't remember seeing a newer version that has changed it.

Actually the break line setting in SolidWorks leaves a lot to be desired. You have a toggle to turn it on and off, and a toggle to break around extention lines only, or around any dim...and the gap size itself. Unfortunately, there's no control to break over other objects, such as annotation note leaders. There's also no control over where the breaks occur.
