Is there a setting somewhere to be able to dimension a silhouette edge on a drawing?
I have created a small weldment using the "Structural Member" feature, and selected a Round Tube. Then clicked on the arc i have drawn. Next I project the model onto a drawing and then try to dimension an edge off the side view and i get this error: "Selected silhouette cannot be uniquely identified for the current operations. Please create a split line by using Split Line operation with the Silhouette option"...whaaa? I just want to dimension this tube! I dont recall having any trouble with this in previous SW versions.

Im running SW6-sp3
ATI FireGL X1-128

If it is an arc, fillet or spline, you need a split line.
