Dimensional Inventory

Does anyone use, or know of, any type of dimensional inventory software? We would like to keep track of material drops for reuse in later projects. I know that there are several material nesting packages out there, but we are looking at the scrap side. Actually, at $450 a pound, I shouldn't call it scrap.
