Digital Pot Design

Does anyone know some good sources for some digital pot devices?? IC's with very small form factors (SMA)??

Also, what would be the ideal methods in controlling the digital pot to read/adjust voltage at a certain test point of a ckt design?? Do you need a processor interface?? Can you just feed the bits to a connector and have a DAQ card (a la Labview) monitor/control the digital POT??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated......

This part would be quite simple. You could control it with a DAQ card. You could also control the SPI versions with a DAQ card, just a little more software overhead.
