I'm trying to model so2 removal using a tray scrubber. I need to locate the diffusivity of so2 within a caustic solution on a square feet per hour basis.

Does anyone know where to locate diffusivity information for so2?

I've found an old spreadsheet (SO2 scrubbing with dilute NaOH)where I used Dl=1.18 e-9 m2/s
I do not find where I got this figure. The order of magnitude is OK.

Guys
as you are chating about SO2 would like to ask if you can help me with the following:
i´m trying to roast molybdenite and to get molybdenum oxide MoO3 with a minimum sulpher content. But unfrotunately its´comming with a 1.5% of SO2. is the any chemical solution which could remove that rest of the sulpher from molybdenum oxide.
thanks
