Different types of Coatings 2

Can anyone provide me with an explanation of the difference between Zinc plated, galvanised, Dacromet and Delta tone coatings. Is there a chart available or a link highlighting the differences ???

Hi. Coincidentally, I just spoke with a representative from NOF Metal Coatings North America, this week. Because of the environmental issues of hexavalent chromium, they are also opting out of trivalent for greener technology you can find here:

Dacromet, I'm told, is being phased out. If it's corrosion protection you want, request comparative data based on ASTM B-117, salt spray. Good luck.
