Different groove angles for V belt pulleys

Structural

We are in the practice of giving same groove angles(say38degrees)to both the pulleys(having different dia's) of a transmission pair.However since correct groove angle of pulley depends upon ratio of pitch dia to belt thickness,I feel the two pulleys should have different groove angles(say 38 and 36 degrees)depending upon their pcd/thickness.Can someone please pointout the correct practice.Thanks in advance.
