Diesel Engine Liner allowable wear and Engine performance.

Could any body tell me what percentage of wear is allowed for an old Diesel engine cylinder liner and what will be its effect on the engine performance.The Engine is connected with a 500KVA. Alternator.The Engine specs is as under:

4 storke Diesel engine,

Speed = 600-750 rpm.

Liners Inside bore dia. = 210 mm.

Stroke= 300 mm.
