Please could someone advise on either how to design variable volume diaphragm pumps for use in a water flow balance system - or point me in the direction of a good web resource.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

What's a water flow balance system?

**********************
"Pumping accounts for 20% of the world’s energy used by electric motors and 25-50% of the total electrical energy usage in certain industrial facilities."-DOE statistic (Note: Make that 99% for pipeline companies)

Hiya,
A fluid balance pump system is one in which volumes being provided by a diaphragm pump are controlled by the fluid being returned to another diaphragm pump. Does this help?
Regards

Why try and re-invent the wheel by attempting to design a diaphragm pump when there are any number available on the market from reputable manufacturers.

Because this is for a very specialist application and we can not use proprietry items.
