Diameter Dimensions

When I create a diameter dimension in a circle, I have to manually align it horizontally, and it rarely comes out EXACTLY perfect. I have been totally unable to figure out how to snap it to the horizontal. Is it possible? Thanks for the help.

Get it close then change the leader style to linear.
