Does the diameter and radius symbol go before or after the # now? ACAD shows it in front, but old standards say behind.

On old North American drawings, it was customary to say something like 2.375DIA, or 2.375RAD. On modern drawings, at least as per ASME Y14.5M-1994, you go [DIASYM]2.375, or R2.375.

IAW ASME-Y14.5M-1994 Section 1.7 Application of Dimensions. The symbol goes before the numerical part of the dimension.
