Deuce Pump HGL Steady Design 1

I am using watercad to model a distribution system. Does anyone know how to model a pump that needs to maintain pressure zones to keep a tank from exceeding a certain HGL.

I need to know how to calculate the following to do this:

Shutoff Head
Design Head
Max Operating

You should be able to get answers to your questions from the pump manufacturer or the designer of the system.

Why is a layman trying to analyze a distribution system? Are there no engineers available ?

As suggested, do contact the pump manufacturer at least. Whatthehell's a "deuce pump" anyway ? Haven't heard that term in over 44 years of experience.

well...I didn't want to get too complicated...I've got a second pump in the system...but I didn't want to confuse myself just yet. I have a booster trying to maintain a head in a tank and another booster pulling from that tank to increase the head for another portion of my model. Two boosters...deuce.
 
Interesting semantics.

It matters, a lot, what horsepower the pumps put out and whether they operate in series or in parallel. How they are controlled is another factor you'll want to understand.

No one on this forum can answer all these and other questions you may have. These things can be modeled in EPANET or WaterCad but one needs to see and understand the entire system; sources, pumps, tanks, control valves, etc., before running the model.
