determination of FeS from Fe2S

For a project, we have to distinguish FeS from Fe2S in our sample.XRD didn't appear to be helping.Any idea?your prompt answers are huighly appreciated.

I'd say wrong forum- not sure of correct one but maybe Materials Engineering other topics.

I would suggest that there is some problem with sample or XRD technique if you could not distinguish between FeS and Fe2S since they have different crystal structures.
